What a great article Paul!
It was a great night of jazz for my kids!!
All the musicians were so welcoming and everyone had the time of their lives!!!

Ed,You did a fine job of arranging the trip, giving your band exposure to some of the best music in the world and letting the world find out about your All-Stars.

You nailed this. What a treasure to record the youth jazz band in New
Orleans with masters at the Satchmo Summerfest - a trip of a lifetime for
them but you know they will come back, older, seasoned, remembering this.
Music they know in their hearts if not by heart but by listening. The
director, proud at the bar, keeping time. The universal language. Amazing
story.
