A pop version of the New Orleans classic "Iko Iko." The band is just getting warmed up.
"Genevieve", a gritty swamp pop song written by Dennis Norris, lead singer for “Randy and the Rockets” in the 1950s, performed by Steven Rees. Drummer Johnny Rees pounds out a relentless rhythm on his drum kit, check out his fancy drumstick twirling flourishes. Note the little girls sitting in front of the stage - thrilled to be so close to their favorite band. One of them has been practicing Paige's move of flipping her hair since the first time she saw her when she was three years old.

"When The Saints Go Marchin' In" - The youngest kids in the family, three biological, two adopted, are learning how to rock on trumpets and trombone. Look at their theatrical finish, they've been paying attention to Katie, Paige, Johnny, and Steven!

Mamma Linda Rees belts out a song - you see where her kids get the inspiration. As "Linda Lou and The Lucky 4," she took her kids on the road when they were young. Katie, Paige, Johnny, and Steven owe their mom and dad for their faith in them. The religion that's at the core of their family values in no way constrains the exuberance of their music.
