Well, actually coffee and light snacks, the meal called "once" (pronounce 'on-say') late in the aftenoon. Breakfast is called desayuno, lunch almuerzo, light afternoon meal 'once' and light meal before bed is 'cena'. Important words for a tourist to know, right up there with 'baño', bathroom.
Ricardo's nephew Christian, who lives in a small apartment near the farms main gate, walks up to the front porch late every afternoon for coffee and conversation with Susaan and Ricardo. Every day he comes with a question: "Who is better - Caruso or Pavarotti?" "Do animals have souls?" and certainly livens up the conversations.
The porch of the farmhouse is perched atop a little hill, a "cerro", offers a view of the property and usually a gentle breeze. The dogs never miss a chance to join for some TLC. They get it from Susaan every afternoon.
